Saturday in St. Anthony's church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. D. Conway officiated. Miss Marilyn Murphy was the organist, and Miss Beverly Cassily, a classmate of the bride, was the vocalist. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Calvin Peters, was attired in a gown of white marquisette over satin, fashioned with fitted bodice and long sleeves, and a full hoop skirt extending into a train. Her fingertip-length veil of chantilly lace fell from a crown with seed pearl trim. She carried a white prayer book with a lavender orchid and wore a strand of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. Attending the bride were Miss Sadie Peters, her sister, as maid of honor; Mrs. Richard Beck, as bridesmatron, and Miss Florence Augsburger, as bridesmaid. The maid of honor wore a gown of yellow marquisette over taffeta, made with off-the-shoulter, neckline, fitted bodice, and hoop skirt. She carried a bouquet of white carnations. The bridesmatron and bridesmaid were in green marquisette gown styled like the matron of honor's, and they had similar flower. They wore headbands of white carnations. Vickie Neece, a niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl. She had a yellow marquisette dress, over satin. Jerry Gene Alexander, a nephew of the bridegroom, acted as ringbearer. Raymond Russell was the best man, and ushers were Lyle Yungen and Harold Kimbery. A reception for 200 guests was held at Parker's Athletic club, Telegraph road, during the afternoon hours. Assisting were Mrs. Dorothy Folkman and Miss Sue Johnson, Galesburg, Ill., Miss Darlene Eden, Davenport, and Miss Eloine Lucas, Dubuque, Ia. When the bridal couple left on a wedding trip to an undisclosed destination, the bride was attired in a gray suit with green accessories. They will reside in Davenport. The bride was graduated from the Cotter, Ia., high school and from the Mercy hospital school of nursing., Mr. Neece received his education in the Mt. Sterling, Ill., schools and is employed in the office of French & Hecht.
