Carl Howard Shumaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Shumaker of Elsie, Neb., 
died Sunday morning at 3 o'clock at Mercy Hospital.  He was born in Elsie, 
Neb., March 25, 1922 and is survived by his parents and a sister, Laura May, 
aged 6 years.  The body was removed to the Horrigan & Son chapel.  Funeral 
services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Pleasant Valley 
church to Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
