Miss Dorothea Schumacher passed away at 9 o'clock this morning at 
the home of her brother, Louis, 1133 West 6th street, after an illness 
of 13 months.  She was born Dec. 25, 1855, in Davenport and spent her 
entire life here.  She was a lifelong member of  St. Joseph's church.  
Surviving are four brothers, Louis at home, John and Louis also of 
Davenport, and Henry of Chicago.  The body was removed to the Fred 
N. Ruhl funeral home whence the funeral will be held Wednesday morning 
at 8:30 with services at St. Joseph's church at 9 o'clock.  Interment 
will be in Holy Family Cemetery.
