Ethel J. Clemon								1994

	Ethel Joy Clemon of Harlan, IA, entered eternal rest June 19, 1994 at 
Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan, having attained the age of 90 years, 6 
months, and 28 days.
	She was the daughter of Severt and Lava Hendrickson Olson, born 
November 22, 1903.  She married Victor Clemon of Soldier, February 18, 1923.  
To this union two sons were born, Vincent in 1925 and Marlow in 1929.
	She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor in 1971, a son, 
Vincent in 1983, a sister, Ilo Halverson and a brother, Kleng Olson.
	Survivors include one son, Marlow Clemons(sic) and wife, Jeanette, 
Harlan, a daughter-in-law, Alice Clemons(sic) of Harlan, six grandchildren, 
eight great grandchildren, two sisters, plus nieces and nephews, other 
relatives and friends.
	Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 22 at 10:30 a.m. in St. 
Paul’s Lutheran Church in Irwin, Iowa with Clergy Ralph Wallin officiating.  
Organist was Mrs. Ron Doonan and vocalist was Marc Clemon.  Interment was in 
the Danway Cemetery near Kirkman.
	Sympathy is extended to the family.
