Rose M. Wilhelmi

LE MARS, Iowa -- Rose M. Wilhelmi, 101, of Le Mars passed away Tuesday, Dec. 
12, 2006, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.

The former Rose Margaret Block was born Oct. 29, 1905, in Granville, Iowa, the 
daughter of Nicholas and Marie (Remacle) Block. 

She married Peter J. Wilhelmi on June 24, 1930, at St. Anthony's Catholic 
Church in Hospers.  Her husband, Peter, died Jan. 16, 1978. 

Survivors include three daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pete Wilhelmi; a 
grandson-in-law, Brian Best; four brothers, John, Nicholas, Mike and Henry 
Block; and three sisters, Mary Wilhelmi, Josephine Jochum and Johanna Jungers.
