"Daniel McCurdy was born in Ireland about 1778 and came to America at the age
of 19 years.  He filed naturalization papers in 1797 and obtained citizenship
in 1802.  He settled in Coshocton Co., OH on a farm that is now Tunnel Hill.  
Jane Richey was born ___ and was married to Daniel McCurdy 29 Dec 1814.  They
lived at Tunnel Hill until the death of Daniel in 1862 when Jane came to Iowa
and died with her daughter Rebeca Jane McKee 07 May 1864 in Oakland Twp."

[Note that death date conflicts with the one above.  The location of the township
is not known.]
