The following information is from the Iowa Genealogical Society, 
6000 Douglas, P.O. Box 7735, Des Moines, Iowa 50322

This bible was found at Living History Farms near Des Moines.  It was published
in New York by the American Bible Society during 1834.  The following inscription
is in the bible: "For good behavior in school, Edgar B. Wheeler. Presented to him as 
a testimonial of his having been a member of the Table Mt. (?) school in Huntingdon
(?), and with the hope that it may prove to be a lamp to his feet and a light to his
paths. (signed) T. Gunderson".  The following page is stamped "W. C. Wheeler".
