William E. Fehrenback - Civil War Record Submitted by Frank Dresia on November 19, 1998. According to military records furnished to me by the Archives in Washington, (and accepted by staff of Andersonville Prison), my great grandfather William Edward Fehrenbach, 5/16/1831 to 3/17/1906 was a guest of the Confederacy the last six months of the uncivil war. His name is now on record at Andersonville. Attached is a transcribed copy of that document as entered in my family tree database. Thank You.
