Burial was in the church cemetery. The boy, son of Mr and Mrs Leroh Kopriva, was found hanging from a tree near his home Monday morning. His death waas ruled accidental by Dr. Terry Dynes, assistant Winneshiek county medical examiner. The boy's father has been wrestling coach at Decorah high school for 10 years. His mother is the former Bernadine Baker, daughter of Mr and Mrs Paul Baker, Traer. Mrs Helen Kopriva of Traer, adn the late Joseph Kopriva, are paternal grandparents of the boy. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister. The body of the youth, clad only in tennis shoes, was found about 2:24 a.m. Monday morning from a rope attached to a tree by a search party under the direction of the Decorah Police department. Dr. Terry Dynes, county medical examiner, theorized that the youth was "experimenting" and did not mean to take his own life. Police Chief Ed Anderson sai that no foul play is suspected. The youth was reported missing about midnight Sunday by his parents.
