Stoneburner was born at Manchester, Wabash county, Indiana March 21, 1872. He came to Iowa with his parents when a small child and was reared to manhood in Iowa. He was united in marriage to Pearl Hughes in 1896. To this union were born eight children, of which six survive. Eight years ago he left Iowa and moved to Missouri where he resided until his death December 9, 1931. He leaves a widow and six children., Paul Stoneburner of Creston, Iowa., Mrs Bryan Day of Lorimor., Robert Stoneburner of Creston., Mrs Philip England of Granby, Mo., Mrs Edward Farrell of Kansas City, Mo., and Miss Opal Stoneburner of Oklahoma City. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 2:30 from McGregor Brothers and Coens' chapel in Creston, Iowa. Music was by Mrs McGregor with Mrs. Bruce Spangler at the piano.
