It is a small family cemetery on a farm in Farmington Township in Van Buren County, Iowa. Submitted by Esther Breeden on August 8, 2002. It is old and no other burials have been made. George V. Hellwig born May 4, 1823, died June 11, 1905. Katharine Hellwig born November 28, 1825, died July 23, 1910 Levi Tompkins born Aug. 2, 1810, died Dec. 16, 1883 Uriah Tompkins born Sept. 13, 1817 and died Jan. 18, 1861 wife Catharine born Oct. 20, 1826 and died June 1, 1878 S. P. Ray wife Elizabeth died Mar. 18, 1854 aged 48 years. Samuel S. Ray died Dec. 16, 1850, aged 3 yr, 7 months and 16 days son of S. P. & E. Ray One very old, broken headstone & footstone.
