Widow's Declaration for Army Pension (not stated as such, entire 
document handwritten)


State of Iowa
County of  (Left blank; appears to be VanBuren)

Be it known that on this 3d day of Dec'r 1864 before me a Clerk of the Dist Court 
in and for said County and State personally appeared Mary L. Anderson who being 
duly sworn upon her oath says that she is the widow of Hezekiah R. Anderson late 
a Private of Company "G" Twenty Ninth, 29th, Reg Iowa Vols deceased who died at 
(left blank but was in Helena, AR) while in the service as aforesaid.


She makes this further declaration in addition to her former declaration now on 
file in the (indecipherable) in compliance with "Circular No -" issued by the 
Pension Department.

She further states that her post office address is Birmingham VanBuren  Co. 
Iowa, that she now resides as above stated and that previous thereto she 
resided in Ringgold County Iowa and further states that she has the following 
named children by the said Hezekiah R. Anderson her said husband
deceased and under the age of sixteen at the date of this Death Davit -

Joseph M. Anderson born on the 14 day of Oct 1858.
Albert E. Anderson born on the 29th Day of Dec'r 1861.

All of which said children she had by the said Hezekiah R. Anderson her husband 
as aforesaid.

Sworn to and subscribed before me this 3d day of Dec'r 1864 by the said Mary L. 
Anderson and I hereby certify that I have no interest direct or indirect in this
