     Mrs. Chas. HAMILTON died at the Ottumwa hospital last Friday afternoon after a 
lingering illness.  She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram SAPP of this city and was 
raised and grew to womanhood near Ash Grove.  Funeral services were held Sunday in 
Ottumwa and burial took place there.  She is survived by her husband, parents and one 
brother and one sister. Mr. and Mrs. HAMILTON resided in Blakesburg for a time and 
moved from here to the county seat.  She was a good woman and will be missed by her 
friends.
