She came to Iowa in an early day. She was united in marriage to Chas. L. JONES in 1851. to this union were born ten children, four preceeding her in death, Nathan Albert, Chas. Perry, Arthur Lee and William Jasper. Those left to mourn her death are Henry F. of Topeka, Kansas, Robert of California, Nancy L. of Des Moines, Stephen P. of Albia, Joseph G. of Colo. and Mary E. CLOYED of Brompton. For thirteen years she and her husband lived on the farm east of Albia. Mr. JONES died in 1888 and she remained on the farm with her son S. D. JONES. At an early age she united with the Baptist church and lived a christian life the remainder of her days. We miss thee mother from our home, We miss the(sic) from they place A shadow o’er our life is cast, We miss thee (sic) sunshine of thy face, We miss thy kind and loving hand, Thy fond and ernest (sic) care, Our home is dark without thee We miss thee everywhere Funeral services were held at the U.B. church of Albia Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev.
