     D. K. MILLER, mention of whose serious illness was made in our last issue, died at 
the Miner’s hospital in Albia last Saturday evening.  The news of his death did not come 
unexpected as his condition was considered very bad even before he was taken to the 
hospital.  MILLER & KNEDLER, local undertakers, brought the body home Saturday 
night and funeral services were conducted by Rev. ELLIS Monday morning and burial 
was in the SMITH cemetery.
