At that place see (sic) was baptised and confirmed in the Swedish Lutheran church. She came to this country and located at Muchakinock, Iowa, in 1887. She was married to J. E. Larson April 5, 1898, and to this union was born seven children. One son, Martin, preceded her in death at the age of seven. Those surviving, are her husband, Elmer, Edwin, Herbert, Glen and Florence; also a grandson, Mrs. Re Dena (?) Gustaveson of Dudley; also a grandson, Darrel Leo, three brothers and a sister, John S. Anderson, Des Moines, Iowa, Albin Anderson, Chariton, Iowa, Carl A. Anderson and Mrs. Marguerite Aplequist of Sweden. She died peacefully at the family home, one mile west of Dudley Monday, Dec. 8 at 5:45 a.m. Although she had been failing for a number of years, she was bed-fast for eight weeks, but was patient during all her illness and her prayers and words were “Come, Oh Jesus, and take me,” and was willing to leave everything in God’s care as He would take care of her family. Rev. Bersell had charge of the funeral which was held at the home December 10th at 1 p.m. and at the Munterville church at 3. She was buried in the Munterville cemetery in a bed of beautiful flowers given by friends. She has always been a member of the Munterville church here and tried to take part in all activities.
