We are once more reminded that the death angel has called one of our neighbors, P. A. HORNSTEIN, who passed away, after a lingering illness of three years duration at 5 o’clock Sunday, May 24, at his home one mile north of Munterville. Mr. HORNSTEIN was born in Sweden, April 14, 1867, and came to this country in 1891, locating at Creston, Iowa. Was married to Mollie Mayna KIMBLADE of Ottumwa, February 17, 1901. They moved to Moulton, Iowa, where he had charge of the telegraph department of the Burlington railroad. He is survived by his wife and one son, two sisters and 6 brothers. Mr. HORNSTEIN was a member of the Moulton Masonic lodge and also the Odd Fellows lodge at Moulton. Through instructions of the Moulton lodge the local members of the Odd Fellows lodge cared for the deceased during his illness, thus showing the hand of fellowship when it was most needed. The Moulton Masonic lodge also contributed to his comfort and relief during his illness. He belonged to Swedish Lutheran church, and the funeral service was conducted by Rev. BERSELL at Munterville Tuesday afternoon. A delegation of members of the Moulton lodges attended the funeral and the Moulton Masonic lodge had charge of the service at the grave.
