Sept 17, 1925 OBITUARY Norma Jean, daughter of Earl and Hettie PIERSON, was born December 21, 1921 and passed away at her home after a short illness, September 8, 1925, age 3 years 8 months and 17 days. Her death came as a great shock to all who knew her; she was always happy like a ray of sunshine in the home, making everyone happy about her. To say she will be greatly missed will come far short of expressing what her absence will mean to those who loved her, but God the great father of all loved her more and Jesus her Savior has prepared a beautiful place for her. She leaves to mourn her departure her parents, one brother, Norman Bryce, and grandmothers, Mrs. Mabel PECK and Mrs. Jacob SWENSON and many other relatives and friends.. One brother, Oscar, preceeded her in death. Funeral services were held at the home, Wednesday afternoon, September 9th, conducted by Rev. Chas. ELLIS. The remains were buried in the Jay cemetery. We wish to thank the relatives and friends for the kindness shown us at the death of our darling Jean. May Heaven bless you. Earl and Hettie PIERSON
