FULMER, for many years a respected resident of David City, died Monday afternoon, Aug 24, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. LEVERENG, In Oklahoma City, Okla. He was taken there from David City Friday, Aug. 21, for assistance of Mrs. LEVERENG in caring for him, his state of health having become critical. Mrs. FULMER and Oscar HINDS went with him to Oklahoma City, Mr. FULMER’s brother C. C. FULMER, accompanying them as far as Lincoln. In failing health for more than a year, with Bright’s disease, Mr. FULMER suddenly became helpless. He was in his 64th year. Born in Blakesburg, Iowa, in 1862, he came to David City when a young man and had resided here much of the time since first coming. He was married to Miss Louisa TIMMS in David City. He is survived by Mrs. FULMER and one child, Mrs. L. LEVERENG of Oklahoma City, Okla., and by one brother, Charles C. FULMER of David City, and five half-brothers and two half-sisters residing elsewhere. Mr. and Mrs. FULMER had resided in Oklahoma, Atchison, Kas., Kansas City, Mo., and Lincoln, Neb. but returned to David City for residence at different times. They had resided in David City most of their married life. An earnest and indefatigable worker in life insurance for many years, Mr. FULMER had filled the responsible position of district agent of the Union Central Insurance Company of Lincoln, Neb., for some years. He was a member of the Methodist church and of Fidelity lodge A.F.& A.M., David City, and had been a member of the Methodist church and a Mason for many years. He was a man of scrupulous honesty, kindly in thought and deed, a good citizen who had many friends. Funeral services were held in Oklahoma City Thursday afternoon Aug.. 27th, in charge of the Masonic lodge and burial made at Oklahoma City. David City (Neb..) Journal.
