Dec. 30, 1941 and Maggie Reta Nov. 19, 1965 written in later by hand. Also written in later, are surnames for some of the girls. Sarah Catharine has Davis and Duber written in. Mary Alice has Kaster written in. Maggie Reta has Myers written in. *Please note that General Marion Wickliff was NOT a General. He was named for the Rev. War hero, General Francis Marion , "the Swamp Fox" of S.C. fame. He is referred to as General in the 1850 census while still a child and this family came from Shelby Co. Indiana where they lived near a small settlement called Little Marion, which was also named after General Francis Marion. This Bible record was sent to me by Lloyd T. Wickliff of Van Nuys, California in 1981. It was a photocopy of a typed copy. It read copied Mar. 1, 1930.
