From Jacob Berlsch to William Jugenheimer
Filed for record the 23 day of January A. D. 1871 at 9 o'clock A. M.
     H. S. Rowan Recorder

Know all men, That Jacob Berlsch and Catherine - Berlsch wife of the said 
Jacob Burlsch of the County of Washington, State of Iowa in consideration of 
the sum of Four Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars in hand paid by William 
Jugenheiemr do hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the said William 
Jugenheimer and to his heirs and assigns forever, the following described Real 
Estate, situated in Washington County, in the State of Iowa, to-wit:
     The undivided one half of the North West quarter of South east quarter of 
South West quarter of section Eighteen Township seventy five N of range seven 
west with all appurtenances hereto belonging and the said grantors hereby 
Warrant the Title of said Premises against the lawful claims of all persons 
whomsoever; and the said Catherine - Berlsch hereby relinquishes  her right of 
Dower in and to the said premises.  Witness our hands this 29th day of 
September A. D. 1870.

State of Iowa, Keokuk County S.S.
     I James E. Woods Notary Public in and for said County, do hereby certify 
that Jacob Berlsch and Catherine B. Berlsch personally known to me to be the 
identical persons whose names are affixed to the above conveyance as grantors 
and that they this day came personally before me and acknowledged the same to 
be their voluntary act and deed.
