Washington County Iowa Land Deed Book U pages 402-403

To whom these presents shall come greeting:  whereas I John M. Shilling was on 
the 17th day of February A. D. 1872 by the Circuit Court of Washington County 
and state of Iowa appointed an administrator of the Estate of Peter Trimpel 
late of said County deceased and duly qualified by giving notice of my 
appointment in the manner required by law and whereas by an order of said 
Circuit Court made and dated on the 19th day of August A. D. 1872 I was 
authorized and directed to sell the following described Real Estate belonging 
to said Estate of Peter Trimpel to Wit:
     The undivided one half (1/2) of the North West quarter of the South East 
quarter of the South West quarter of Section No Eighteen (18) Township No 
Seventy fiver (75) North of Range No Seven (7) West of the 5th Principle 
Meridian.  Together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging both 
personal & Real all situated in the County of Washington, State of Iowa. And, 
whereas the said Administrator has sold the Real Estate above mentioned unto 
Wm Jugenheimer of Washington County Iowa for the sum of Five Thousand four 
hundred & ten Dollars: now therefore I John M. Shilling administrator as 
aforesaid in consideration of the sum of $5410 # Dollars to me in hand paid by 
the said Wm Jugenheimer and of the premises by these presents grant, bargain, 
alien, and convey unto the said Wm. Jugenheimer his heirs and assign forever 
all the right title and interest of said Peter Trimpel in and to the aforesaid 
Real Estate to have and to hold the premises to him the said Wm Jugenheimer 
his heirs and assigns forever.  In testimony whereof I have hereunto affixed 
my name as administrator this 18th day of April A. D. 1874.

     On this 18th day of April A. D. 1874 before me A. R. Dewey a Notary 
Public in and for County personally appeared John M. Shilling to me personally 
known to be the identical person whose name is signed to the foregoing deed as 
grantor and personally known to me to be the Administrator of the Estate of 
peter Trimpel deceased and as such Administrator acknowledged the same to be 
his free and voluntary act and deed for the purpose therein set-forth.  
Witness my name and Notarial seal the day and date above written.

     I L. C. Blanchard Circuit Judge in and for said County do hereby certify 
that I have this day examined the foregoing deed of conveyance together with 
the proceedings under which the said conveyance was made and find them to be 
in due form of law and therefore hereby approve and allow the same.  In 
testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of 
the Circuit Court this 20th day of April A. D. 1874,
