This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 35 Henry Ecroit Berdo Washington, Iowa Henry Ecroit Berdo of Washington, was born at Washington, Iowa, on August 13, 1895. He is the son of Thomas Jefferson Berdo and Chattie Wright. Army Record Sergeant Berdo entered training April 8, 1918, at New York university, N. Y., and was transferred to Camp Jackson, S. C., in the Ordnance Department, and later to Camp Zachary Taylor, Kentucky, where he received his discharge December 15, 1918.
