This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 15 Adolph Bushek Riverside, Iowa Adolph Bushek of Riverside, was born at Riverside, Iowa, October 12, 1890. He was the son of Frank Bushek and Mary Kapsa. Army Record Private Bushek entered the service at Camp Pike, July 22, 1918. He was assigned to the 39th Casualty Company and later transferred to Company A, First Training Regiment. In September he was transferred to the 13th Company of the Replacement Draft. He embarked for overseas September 22. He contracted Spanish Influenza on the way over, and died on October 5, 1918, before the ship reached port.
