COOPER Brighton, Iowa Glen E. Cooper of Brighton, was born at Salem, Iowa, on November 4, 1896. He is the son of Hiram O. Cooper and Arabella Cooper. He is a graduate of Brighton High School Army Record Sergeant Cooper entered the service at Camp Dodge, Iowa, on February 24, 1918. He took his training at the American University at Washington, D. C., and later was assigned to the 43rd Engineers and with this unit he sailed for France in June, 1918 He was then transferred to the 49th Co. 20th Engineers. He was discharged July 28, 1919.
