This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 38 William Lloyd Deharper Crawfordsville, Iowa William Lloyd Deharper of Crawfordsville, was born at Crawfordsville, Iowa, on April 26, 1897. He is the son of Francis Marion Deharper and Margaret Anchors. Army Record Private Deharper entered the service July 22, 1918 going to Camp Pike, Ark., where he was placed in the Cooks and Bakers School. He was transferred to Overseas Convalescent Detachment No. 1. He was discharged May 30, 1919 from Camp Dodge, Iowa.
