GARDNER Washington, Iowa Arthur N. Gardner of Washing ton, Route 6, was born at Lexington, Iowa, on December 7, 1893. He is the son of Samuel C. Gardner and Hettie K. King. Army Record Mechanic Gardner entered the service at Des Moines, Iowa, on December 12, 1917, and was assigned to Field Hospital Company 349, 88th Division, at Camp Dodge. He embarked for overseas August 17th and served with the 88th until his return to America.
