Herman N. Genkinger 
Ainsworth, Iowa

Herman N. Genkinger of Ainsworth, Rural Route 2, was born at Washington, Iowa, 
in 1897. He is the son of John H. Genkinger and Mary Noecker Genkinger. He is a 
graduate of Washington High School.


Army Record

Private Genkinger entered the service October 1, 1918, at Ames, Iowa, where he 
was a member of the Student Army Training Corps. He was discharged December 17, 
1918.
