This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 12 Jesse R. Harvey Brighton, Iowa Jesse R. Harvey of Brighton, was born in Washington County, Iowa, April 23, 1892. He was the son of Jesse E. Harvey and Rebecca Henry. Army Record Private Jesse Harvey entered the service at Camp Pike, July 22, 1918. He was assigned to Company E, First Training Regiment, 3rd Automatic Replacement Draft. He embarked for overseas September 22, 1918. He became ill with pneumonia and dies October 9, 1918.
