Pleasant, Iowa, on April 14, 1896. He was the son of Emil Kellerhals and Mary Schantz. Army Record Private Kellerhals entered the service at Camp Pike, Ark., July 22, 1918. He was assigned to Co. 21, Aug. Automatic Replacement Draft. He was sent to Camp Mills, and embarked for overseas September 14, landing September 28. He Contracted broncho pneumonia and died October 5, 1918. He was buried October 6, At St. Amand, Mont Rond, France.
