This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 33 William McKinley Kendrick Washington, Iowa William McKinley Kendrick of Washington, was born in Logan County, Ill., on October 12, 1897. He is the son of Maurice M. Kendrick and Eunice Ellen Rigle. Army Record Private Kendrick entered the service September 6, 1918, and was sent for training to Camp Dodge, Ia., where he was a member of the Medical Corps. Later he was transferred to Base Hospital 129 at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. He was discharged December 18, 1918, at Camp Dodge.
