Koehler Ainsworth, Iowa John P. Koehler of Ainsworth, was born at Hartsburg, Illinois, on August 18, 1893. He is the son of Carl D. Koehler and Julia Ruben. Army Record Private Koehler entered the service July 22, 1918, and was sent to Camp Pike, Ark., where he was placed in the Infantry. He landed overseas November 9th, 1918, and was transferred to Prisoner of War Escort Co. 208, which is stationed at St. Nazaire. He was discharged October 22, 1919.
