F. D. No. 4, was born in Marion Township, Washington County, Iowa, on March 4, 1890. He is the son of Benjamin Franklin Miller and Cordelia Hillhouse. Army Record Private Miller entered the service Miller entered the service July 22, 1918, going to Camp Pike, Arkansas, as a member of the 33rd Casual Company, 163rd Depot Brigade. He later joined the cooking school and continues in that branch of the service until he was transferred to Camp Dodge for discharge. He received his discharge on January 10, 1919.
