This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 25 Lloyd Miller Kalona, Iowa Lloyd Miller of Kalona, was born near Kalona, Iowa, on July 30, 1895. He is the son of Sam B. Miller and Amelia Swartzendruber. Army Record Private Miller entered the service May 28, 1918, going to Camp Dodge, where he was assigned to the First Battalion, Battery B, 337th Field Artillery, 88th Division. He landed overseas August 31, 1918. He was Stationed at Clermont, France. He was with the Signal Detachment of Battery B. He was discharged on January 30, 1919.
