Hazel D. Small 
Richmond, Iowa

Hazel D. Small of Richmond, was born at Richmond, Iowa, on February 25, 
1896. He is the son of Anson Small and Rose Page. 

Army Record

Private Small entered the service May 27, 1918, in the Field Artillery, and 
received his training at Camp Dodge. He was in Battery E, 337th F. A., 88th 
Division, which landed overseas August 31, 1918. He received his discharge 
January 31, 1919.
