This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 28 Everette Vincent Keota, Iowa Everette Vincent of Keota, was born at Keota, Iowa, on March 1, 1895. He is the son of George G. Vincent and Mary T. Wright. Army Record Private Vincent entered the service July 22, 1918, giong to Camp Pike, Arkansas, where he was assigned to an infantry unit. He was transferred to Machine Gun Company 301, 76th Division, and a second transfer took him to Company A, 18th Machine Gun Battalion, 6th Division. He landed overseas September 29, 1918, and was stationed at Levet. He was discharged June 27, 1919, at Camp Dodge.
