This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 35 Clarence Abbey Walker Ainsworth, Iowa Clarence Abbey Walker of Ainsworth, was born in Blount county, Tennessee, on August 28, 1891. He is the son of John Alonzo Walker and Mary Ellen Hamil. He is a graduate of Washington (Iowa) Business college. Army Record Corporal Walker entered the service December 14, 1917, in the Ordnance department, and received his training at Camp Dodge, Iowa. On March 14, 1918, he embarked for overseas and was stationed at LaHarve. He received his discharge May 10, 1919, at Camp Dodge, Iowa.
