WHITE Washington, Iowa Frank S. White of Washington was born at North Topeka, Kansas, on January 8, 1889. He is the son of Amos White and Hattie Risinger. He is married and his wife's maiden name was Frances McCulley. Army Record Corporal White entered the service May 12, 1917, at Jefferson Bar racks, Missouri. He was then transferred to Fort Bliss, Texas, placed in L Company, 64th Infantry. He was sent to Camp Custer, Michigan, as a machine gun instructor and was assigned to the Machine Gun Company of the 340th Infantry, 85th Division. He was discharged January 26, 1918, because of physical disability.
