This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 25 Harold Gale White Crawfordsville, Iowa Harold Gale White of Crawfordsville, Route 1, was born at Crawfordsville, Iowa, on September 25, 1893. He is the son of Robert Sherman White and Jennie Etta Green. He is a graduate of Washington High School and Highland Park College of Gas Traction. Army Record Corporal White entered the Marine Aviation service at St. Paul, Minnesota, on August 9, 1918, and was stationed at the Marine Flying Field at Miami, Florida. He was discharged from service January 15, 1919.
