This biography was copied from "Washington County in the World War", page 29 Clark L. Woodburn Washington, Iowa Clark L. Woodburn of Washington, was born at Ainsworth, Iowa, on October 9, 1890. He is the son of Lewis F. Woodburn and Susan C. Stewart. Army Record Sergeant Woodburn enlisted July 5, 1917, in the Medical branch of service, and was sent first to Jefferson Barracks, Mo., being transferred later to Fort Riley, Kansas, and still later to Camp Dodge, Iowa, at which latter camp he entered the Medical Detachment, 351st Infantry, 88th Division. He landed overseas August 28, 1918. He was discharged June 7, 1919, at Camp Dodge, Iowa.
