Was married to Elijah Albin Sept. 13, 1846. They moved from Ohio to Illinois, and in 1853 moved to Dayton, Washington county, Iowa, where Elijah Albin died Jan. 2, 1864, leaving her with a family of five children, all of whom are living to mourn the loss of a mother. They are: Mrs. Joannah Scabry [sic], Joseph Albin, Mrs. Sarah Jane Grey [sic], Mrs. Hannah Palmer, Will Albin. She was raised by christian parents and always held that way, though she never identified herself with a church. Additional Comments: Her husband's death date is wrong. Elijah Albin died Feb 2, 1863 as evidenced in his probate in Washington County, IA courthouse. Two daughters last names were incorrectly spelled - they are Scabery and Gray.
