Although he had been very bad the last few days no one thought of the end coming so soon. He leaves a wife, daughter and two sons, Chas. At home and Emmet a leading business man of Kalona. He was an old soldier severing in the war from the time it broke out until the end. Mr. Louck was liked by everyone and was one of Washington county’s most honest and upright men. He leaves besides his immediate family a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The funeral services will be held at the Baptist church in Kalona at one o’clock, Monday, Jan. 2, other arrangements having not been made at this writing.
