Washington Evening Journal,  Aug 1, 1942
 Mrs. Hannah N. Palmer, 84, widow of Jesse R. Palmer, died at 1:20 this 
morning at her home. Hannah N. Albin was born May 5, 1858, near Wellman, a 
daughter of Elijah and Miranda (Romine) Albin. She was married March 2, 1881, 
at Amish, Iowa to Jesse R. Palmer, who died Oct. 17, 1913. She had been a 
resident of Washington the last 20 years. Surviving are six children: Mrs. 
E.G. Butterbaugh of Stuart, Iowa, Stella A. Palmer of Washington, A.G. Palmer 
of Baltic, S.D., A.E. Palmer of Washington, R.B. Palmer of Washington, E. 
Loran Palmer of Hedrick. She also leaves one brother, W.E. Albin of Kalmazoo, 
Mich.
