Wellman Advance  Thu Aug 22, 1946
  Charles C. Wahl was born in Underbruten, Germany in 1866 and came to America 
when 16 years old. He married Ella Bernard of Wellman in 1889. She died in 
1939 and he moved to town from their farm north of town where they had lived 
45 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by three 
children, Mrs. Floyd Anderson, Excelsior Springs, Mo., Mrs. Mort Emde and Dr. 
Ernest Wahl, Thompsonville, Ga. Burial was held in the Wassonville Cemetery.
