Tampa, Fl. Hillsborough county, Thursday, September 13, 2007.
Virinda Lohmann, 93 of Sun City Center, Fl. died Friday, September 7, 2007 in 
Sun City Center, Fl. from the effects of a stroke. Born July 2, 1914 in Decorah,
Iowa to Clate and Martha Arbogast. She lived for a time in Kansas and moved to
Aurora, Ill. in 1939 as a fashion buyer for Montgomery Ward. She spent more than
25 years at the store. In 1953 She Married Roy Lohmann, a World War II veteran
whose family ran an Aurora monument Company. For the next 52 years they were 
true partners. On Her Husbands retirement in the 1970's They moved to Florida,
first to St. Petersburg and, 20 years ago, to Sun City Center. Mrs. Lohmann was
preceded in death by Her Parents and Her Brother, Linn, Who was missing in 
action in World War II. Her Husband, Roy died in 2005. Survivors: Cousin, 
Virinda Spencer of Brandon, Fl. Memorial service 10am. Thursday, September 13, 
2007 at United Community Church, 1501 La Jolla Ave., Sun City Center, Fl. 33573.
Burial will take place in Aurora. Memorials can be made to the Church or to 
Life-Path Hospice, 3723 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, Fl. 33573. Sun City Funeral
