Author: Western Publishing Company

R. A. Broadbent, proprietor of livery stable, on Douglas street, between 4th and
5th streets; established business in 1869. He was born in Ill., in 1844. He
moved to Fayette county, Iowa, and came to Sioux City in 1868. He served in the
late war two years in Co. F, 9th I. I., under Captain Guinn.
