Fairfield / Rock Branch or Batchellor Cemetery

This cemtery is located in Wolf Creek Township, Woodbury County, in the NW 1/4 
of NW 1/2 section 1. Some times called "Batchellor's Cemetery". It lies between 
Moville and Correctionville, Iowa 1/2 mile south of Highway 20 on county road 
L21 ( Lee Avenue ). 

There are no definite sections to this cemtery. The W.C.G.S used the front gates 
as guidposts, dividing this cemetery into four sections, beginning with the oldest 
part, considered now to be section A.

Recorded on 12 June 1993 by Franklin D. and Marylin J. Leedom, Robert Force, Earl 
Woodard, Tom Beauvais, Glenna Ferrone, Janet Jolin, Marsha Honke and Richard Johnson. 
Each section was walked and recorded staring in the south west corner of the section 
and working north to south and reversing at the edge of the section untill all rows 
had been recorded.
