Mary Sterling Bakke               (Contributor’s date:  1987)

	Mary Sterling Bakke, 82, of Lyme, Conn. And formerly of Sioux City, 
died Jan. 31 in Connecticut Hospice at Branford, CT.
	
	Mrs. Bakke, the former Mary Sterling, was born March 3, 1904, in Sioux 
City.  Mr. Bakke preceded her in death.
	
	Survivors include two sons; one daughter of Lexington, Ky.; five 
sisters, Dorothy S. Von Striver of Mountain View, Calif., Lois S. Minick of 
Mariposa, Calif., Virginia S. De Raad and H. Klare Sterling, both of Sioux 
City, and Caryl S. Lewis of Anchorage, Alaska; four brothers, Allen F. 
Sterling of San Bernadino, Calif., Williard P. Sterling of Campbell, Calif., 
and H. Melvin Sterling of Redland, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
