NELLE BLOCK                          (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Nelle H. Block, 95, Onawa, Iowa, passed away November 24, 1982, at 
Elmwood Nursing Home, Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born March 21, 1887, at Sgt. Bluff, Iowa, to Abram and 
Catherine Clark Harder.  On February 9, 1910, she was united in marriage with 
William C. Block at Sioux City, Iowa.  He preceded her in death.  
	She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Onawa and the Rosary 
Society
	Survivors include:  two daughters,  twenty-four grandchildren and 
forty-eight great grandchildren
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, and 
one daughter, Willamina Bisbee.
