	Vernon “Beaver” Brenden, 59, of Sloan, Iowa, died Thursday, October 
10, 1991, at St. Lukes Medical Center in Sioux City, IA
	He was born February 28, 1932, in Sioux City, to Glenn and Goldie 
(Anderson) Brenden.   On July 27, 1957, he married Patricia Ann Pohl.
	Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann; two daughters and their 
husbands, Ingrid and David Simpson of Overland Park, Kansas, and Leah and Jeff 
Brouillette of Salix; one son, Eric, and his wife, Di, of Sloan; three 
grandchildren, Brenden and Alex Brouillette and Claire Simpson; two sisters, 
Aileen Brown of Denver, Colorado, and Glenna Redshaw of Sioux City; and one 
brother, Gene of Phoenix, Arizona.
	He was preceded in death by his parents.
